ASN - PN

For ASN Program, length of time varies based upon program and transfer credits accepted.

Associate of Science (ASN) Program: Generic Program

  • Available to students with a High School Diploma/ GED/ Certified Evaluation of High School Equivalency if completed outside of United States
  • 78-credits to be completed less transfer credits

Associate of Science (ASN) Program: Transitional Tract “A”

  • Available to students who are licensed healthcare professionals
    (LPN, LVN, LPT, RT, ….)
  • 70-credits to be completed plus 8-credits granted for Lifetime Experience

Associate of Science (ASN) Program: Transitional Tract “B”

  • Available to students who are Foreign Medical Doctors
  • 50-credits to be completed plus
    28-transfer credits granted

Students may be eligible for additional credit transfers up to a maximum of 21-credits in the ASN-Tract A and Generic Programs if they have taken courses and passed with a grade of “C” or better at another college or university.
Start Date for ASN: January, May and September of each year

  • Available to students with a High School Diploma/ GED/ Certified Evaluation of High School Equivalency if completed outside of United States
  • Full-time students: 12-month completion
  • Part-time students: 18-month completion

Effective June 26, 2025, the Associate Nursing program is a candidate for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. This candidacy status expires on June 26, 2027.
