Distance Education Disclosure
Sunrise School of Nursing offers a hybrid Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program; however, it is not a fully online or distance education program. All laboratory and clinical components are delivered in person to ensure students develop required hands-on competencies and meet regulatory standards. The institution incorporates limited distance education tools, such as a learning management system, to support instruction, provide course materials, and enhance communication. These tools supplement, but do not replace, the required on-campus and clinical learning experiences.
Flexible Block Scheduling
Sunrise School of Nursing utilizes a block scheduling model designed to support student success and balance. Courses are delivered in focused time blocks, allowing students to concentrate on one learning experience at a time, whether in the classroom, simulation lab, or clinical setting. This structured approach promotes deeper learning, reduces scheduling conflicts, and provides a more manageable and predictable academic experience.
